i have five fans i want to use only two connections on the board so if i used two splitters on those and split one of the splitters would this work?
 
Depends on the power draw of your fans, but if they're typical cheap PC fans, you should be more than fine.

i guess i could do that but i wouldn't be able to control the fans through the bios right? i am using a lanparty ut nf3 250gb and in the bios you can set the fans to turn on and off at a certain temp.
