Xvid/Divx movies black in Media Player/MPC

After installing my 6800NU (replacing my 9800Pro), I can no longer play movies in Xvid or Divx in Media Player Classic or mplayer32 anymore. The audio plays, but the video is black.

However, the videos still play just fine in VLC or Media Player 10.

What is going on here?
 
Do you use video out?
If you do, you may need to check the primary output in display control panel.
 
Regarding the codec pack, sorry that's not my problem.

I've been using the DirectShow filter, FFDShow (which plays ALOT more than Xvid and Divx); it worked perfectly fine with my 9800Pro.

I'm not sure what you mean by video out.
 
When switching from ATI -> nVidia, did you do a clean install by removing all traces of ATI drivers? Check the sticky by cornelius if you didn't. It might help.
 
Lol, I did the Driver Cleaner thing twice (if you remember my thread a few days ago regarding me hitting 11k in 3dmark'03). I solved that. Now I gotta solve this ridiculous codec issue.

The noise ("low" is easily 2-3 times as loud as a Silencer), the drivers, and now this strange codec issue really making me cherish the little problems I've had with ATi since the 8500, and my 9800Pro.
