Xtrememusic VS Asus DSX/DGX

Would I be gaining anything by upgrading from an Xtrememusic to the DSX or DGX? I know I'd lose EAX support, which is fine because I don't play anything that uses that anyways. My stereo L/R out port on my Xtrememusic broke a long time ago so I had to solder a headphone cord directly onto the board. This doesn't let me use the front headphone ports on my PC case which I'd like to use for my drum set. I mainly listen to music and occasionally game. I have a 2.1 setup but may at some point buy a decent set of headphones in the future.
