on a few of my newer keyboards, it includes a button that says "Fn" what does that stand for and what does it do?
 
Fn = Function.

Your keyboard prolly has a 2nd set of commands for the function keys, and pressinf the Fn key switches it between the 2.

Think of it as a shift-lock for the function keys.
