Another forum suggested it for it's incredible value to performance ratio. I hear it's also made by a reputable name.. any one here want to tell me otherwise?

I really want to go watercooling one day or another, I still have a bunch of research to do but I would love to get opinions on this kit. I usually prefer individually selecting parts, but it seems I can't really do that under $200 :p
 
That is the best bet you can do for 200 dollars, just need some pt nuke and distill water and you good to go.

That's pretty much it!

Oh, I have heard from some people that the tubing isn't all that great, but that's cheap and easy to replace.
 
It's a great kit and a great way to enter water cooling as mentioned above people usually buy their own tubing for it since the stock tubing is kind of ugly since it gets hazy looking or is hazy looking instead of clear.

Just run distilled water and pt nuke OR a silver kill coil.
 
I am using a Cooler Master HAF932, so I will be mounting everything internally.
I have also watched some movie reviews, and I have seen the tubing quality. It kinks easily, and even though this is a CPU-only loop, tubing is just one of those small things I can go "all money" on.

I am planning on also buying with the kit..
-better tubing (need recommendations, preferred clear, but it doesn't excessively matter what color)
-silver kill coil (I prefer natural over nuke, but I haven't done research on it. What do you recommend?)
-anti-kink coils (I'll be getting quality piping, so this will be purely for aesthetics)


Since I am somewhat uncomfortable using water on my system, I would feel more safe precautions would calm me. What are the views on pressure safety valves and liquid flow indicators?
 
I got the RX360 kit. Works fabulous. Try the promo code "facebook" if buying from jab's (10% off). Got the RX360 kit + kill coil for $199, shipped. For the silver kill coil just order a six in strip of silver from where you get the kit and if its not a coil wrap it around a pencil. Very easy to do. If your running just a CPU loop I wouldn't worry about pressure safety values or liquid flow indicators.

Just make sure you leak test and you will be fine.
 
I was saying that people usually buy colored tubing and to me there is no point in buying MORE clear tubing since it already comes with it. Then I seen the OP's post and he prefers clear tubing so my post was irrelevant because you were advising him on cheap clear tubing that doesn't kink easily.
 
I plan to get the same kit as you altho i looked at the rx rad and it wont fit in my case they way i want it. I plan to add pt nuke and blue color tubing, altho i havnt picked it out yet. I have a question though. When your cleaning it? How do you do that cuz if you just pop the tubing off it poors out everywhere? Can you add a quick disconnect? Thanks
