Does anyone know if XSPC black chrome fittings is actually a nickel plating? I know the underlying metal is brass; What I don't know is if their "black chrome" is actually chromium or really nickel. I'm using distilled water and a silver coil; With no intention of adding any other biocide/inhibitor to the loop. Hence my question. I do not want to introduce any nickel to the loop.
 
It's probably a nickel-chrome plating. Can't imagine they would be able to get the chrome look without actual chrome, or paint, and i know its not paint. Otoh, its certainly not just chrome, definitely ni underneath.
