My wife is all over my computer time.....so bare with me.
I tried to OC my dell XPS (which is the only dell that does not lock down the bios).
I disabled the CE1 and Stepping, and Unlinked my FSB.
I changed the FSB to 450MHZ and that showed my configured settings to 30000MHz.
I saved and rebooted and cpuz still showed 2.6MHz. So i rebooted and back to the BiOS i went.
The bios still reflected my configured settings as FSB 400 MHz, but the reflected the "Current" as 2600Mhz.
I am new to the OC game, so wondering if anyone has had any of the same expierence and might have some advice....
Be gentle, my wife monopolizes all my time.
