I just bought 2 of them because they were cheap?

Why are they cheaper than the rest of the GTX's such as leadtek and others?

I know the bfg has higher clock speeds so that is justified, but is there any real difference apart from warranties and reliability concerns....

im in Australia, i got them wholesale...

I paid $720 AUD which is about 450-500US

Not worried by the price diff, just is there a performance diff?

No, I'm just guessing that the place you bought it from had a surplus of them in stock. Supply and demand, my friend.

no they seem cheaper across the board in several stores......

Yes i used to be a repoman, i used to reposses cable modems and STU's when people didn't pay.

Now i pay someone to be my repowoman :)

muhahahahaaha (that means evil laugh)

so can anyone tell me if a leadtek is better????

Whats the difference btn the different brands? anyone?

I wouldn't worry about it, all the cards are basically the same.
The price differences are usually because of the software/hardware bundles (XFX jumps to mind) or the manufacturer name premium (Asus / BFG)

I have an Inno3d which I bought in Hong Kong and it cost me 410 euro, here the same card costs 579 (wish I had bought 2)

Well most of last 2 generations of nVidia cards produced by most of a companies are simple nVidia reference design. Some have different PCB color or different cooler but in all together they are pretty much same.

Well some companies or gett better cores or sample better cores or have balls or have luck and sell OC versions of it. Some OC versions have better coolers (Asus OC version has Silencer) some use stock coolers(XFX) and some better looking coolers (eVga) but still same PCB same memory and same GPU. Some offer life time warrenty some not. Still same cards :)

When I was getting My 6800GT I couldn't gett thme. They where so rear.
I've spend lot of time on a phone calling people and finaly when somone sad He has one I've juped into a car and went there. Card was a Pixel View model. I was like Pixel view?
Who are they? Dude in a shop told me they are good and if I'm not satisfyed I could bring it back (just to keep packaging nice)

My first reaction was to ask here about Pixel View. :)

At first glance I was thinking I've done a mistake. My results where lower then most of a results here. Then I've DL forceware drivers and result went up. OC-ed it to see a difference got even biger E-penis. Since thne have had ton's of fun with it with no problems whats so ever. Aslo no need to OC it realy.

So enjoy Your new setup and don't think about brand names. Just be happy You have got them cheeper. If You try to OC You will see it will OC as well.

You might later on though add Zalman or AC Silencer and enjoy quiet and better cooling.

They have the same PCB design, the same cores BUT some use different capacitors and mosfets I believe. That's what makes some overclock better and cost a bit more.
