how high can i go with a stock cooler?

I understand there are tbred cores and palamino. Tbred overclocks better but can anyone give me rough numbers of how big of an overclock i can expect from each chip on air. Thanks!

There are 3 cores..... Tbred, Pallys, and Bartons. the pally went up to 2200+ the Tbred went to 2800+ (skiping 2500+) and bartons go to 3200+ (correct were wrong guys), Pally cores suck balls, they run hot stock and dont overclocke very well at all... (most of them anyway)

It really depends on the week and stepping of you Tbred... for exampel, (the only one i have) This is my old Tbred CPU. It would do 2.5 Ghz with 2.1v and some water cooling. most good stepping Tbreds will range you from 2.2Ghz - 2.5Ghz.....

So lets start with this question to you, what week and stepping is the chip? If you dont know how to find it, give us all the info on the little black sticker on the CPU. Me or someone eles will tell oyu what is what. There is a database somewhere on what ech stepping seems to top out at...let me look for it..
