Xp wont boot

I was reinstalling xp, after switching out my powersupply. the install finished suxcessfully. when i pull out the xp disk and restart it osts correctly, but says error loading os. any solutions out there? i have tryed reinstallng twice with the same result.

I talked to a friend he says it mite be a hd issue.....any comments???

you can prob go to the manufacturers website for the HD and download a tool to check HD for errors.

It appears you're having keyboard issues as well!

But yes, if you think it's a hard drive issue, download the tool to test it. It doesn't hurt to download Memtest as well and check out the memory.

Whenever I have problems like that, I typically just remove as many components as possible down to the bare essentials. Take out all RAM except for one stick, unplug all hard drives, cards etc that you dont absolutely need to boot.

I've just always found this a good way to narrow down problems.

I did try that it seems everything is working properly, its just when i load xp to the hd it has issues loading for some reason.... as for the keyboard crack ^^^ well laptop keyboard+ a rush + fatty hands do that.
