Who here has gone from XP 32 to W7 64 with no issues at all?

I ordered 4GB of ram to go with 7, same type I have now only lower latency. I'm a casual gamer, no need for expensive high end parts.

Rest of system - Intel Q6600 @ 3.2, ASUS p5kdeluxe, evga gtx285 (very overclockable), SSD and monitor (24" 19x12).

Wrong forum....But.....

You'll be fine. My HTPC is very similar to yours. I use it as a backup rig for gaming when I have to. No issues in Win 7 x64.

For your SSD....
1) Turn on AHCI in your bios before installing win 7
2) After Win 7 installs, turn off automated disk defrag for your SSD.

Thanks. Should this have gone in the OS forum? *shrugs*

I overclock my B3 Q6600 to 3.2ghz. It's stable and runs XP fine and all DX9 games I play. My main question is, will switching to 7 affect my system stability?
