XP SP2 and FarCry problems?

so affter installing SP2, everything works, except FarCry suddenly acts like im running a voodoo2 or something. nothing elese has been effected. It starts "hiccuping" in the main menu screen.. I cant seemed to find anything on this issue. Any Suggestions?

No problems here to report with XP SP2 and FarCry, mine is patched to ver 1.2 (the version recalled because of bugs hehe) Make sure you have latest chipset and videocard drivers for your box

yeah im also runing 1.2, latest hyperion and nvidia drivers.. ive even tried a defrag. im gonna pull my savegame files and try a re-install, see what happens. wierd.
