XP setup on raid

I dont know if this should be in this forum or Storage. Im sorry if I put it in the wrong spot. I have three hard disks. Two Seagate, and one Maxtor. Both 400 GB SATAII 16mb cache. As of right now, I have XP Pro on the Maxtor drive and Ubuntu on one Seagate, the other Seagate isnt partitioned. Nothing on it. Heres my question/situation. I want to raid the two Seagates together to have XP span both drives as one install. Would I be able to transfers everything from my XP install to the XP install on the Seagate drives from the Maxtor drive and then delete the XP install on the Maxtor drive? Will I lose the install on the Seagate drives if I do?

I'd never bother to transfer a windows install, I just backup my stuff and reinstall.
