XP network printer problem

i have a network printer that i cannot get to install on one pc. it is working fine on four other pc's. all pc's are running xp pro. i know the ip of the printer and can ping the printer but i can't get the pc to see the printer. there is a shared printer on another pc that i can print to, just not the network pc. any suggestions?

What kind of printer is it?

panasonic dp-2330. it seems like there is something wrong with one of the pc's. it can see all of the network resources but the printer.

Is the spooler service running on the misbehaving PC?

Does the printer have a web gui you could log into from the pc. Type in the IP address in a web browser

i would say no cause i can print to a shared printer on another pc.

would you think removing the tcp/ip and reinstalling would help?
