XP MCE 2005... any negatives?

I'm setting up a gaming computer and have an option between XP Pro or MCE 05. Is there any reason not to install MCE since it's based off Pro?

None that I can think of, go with Media Center.

Why get more when you don't need it? Just more stuff to kill system resources in MCE.

I had it loaded on my system for a while. I ended up going back to XP Pro, only because I preferred to separate tasks. I got tired of having to check my recording schedule to find time for gaming. In my opinion, you should have a dedicated machine for both tasks, but games ran just fine on it.
