sup guys - new to the area

I've had my xpm 2500 for a while now and since its winter its time to OC.

Abit NF7-S v2
XP-M 2500 w/old TTvolcano7+ stuck on high and AS 5
HyperX 3200*512 @400 / 2.7v

I'm at 2.3ghz with 1.8v now and I know it'll go for more but im not sure where i should stop at since its nice and cold in my room. My temps right now are 22c / 38c / 45c (system/idle/load). Any ideas on what to go for as far as voltage/OC?

I can prolly get 220fsb no problem now too @ 2.9v

Personally I would stay south of 2v myself.

I just hit 2.5 on my 35w 2400+ and it seems pretty stable. :)
multi: 12.5
fsb: 400.1
vcore: 1.75

If it wasn't for my crappy cooler I think I could go alittle higher... and it's cold here today so I'm freezing as well. :)

I am currently running 1.84v and load temp is about 50C, and it's on a Kamakaze HS which is supposed to be pretty good. I think you better not exceed 1.9vcore unless you have watercooling... Just my .02

I'm with the first reply, I go up to anything below 2v. I get 2.5 GHz at 1.75 on air, SLK-900A w/ Panaflo.

Can ya go over the 12.5 multi limit? I can't and I'm pissed becaouse of that.

I haven't tried since my cooler is shit, I'll be getting a 900U tomorrow though so I'll have to do some testing. ;)

since im waiting for a new waterblock (cracked my top) im using a vantec hs not sure which one just borrowed it from a friend, with a coolermaster 6500rpm fan cable tied on top of it, and im at 2.58 @ 1.75v 215*12 with my ram at 2.9v and im idling at 38c. i dont see why you are running that high a voltage at 2.3, granted my fan is kicking some ass but ive easily hit 2.4 200x12 with 1.6v i havent fidled with it too much for lack of interest in air cooling it but i know im stable at 2.58 since i primed for 24 hours straight. you should start out lowering your multi to 6 and seeing just how high you can bump you ram up before it gets unstable, with something like 2.5-3-3-11 timings or maybe 2.5-3-3-8 then start raising your multi from there, each time it gets unstable lower your fsb 2 mhz or so. and if its not turning on or restarting randomly then you should up your voltage. mostly you should look at the cpu charts and see what others have gotten at what voltages, there really sint a reason why you should have to pump 1.8v just to hit 2.3 good luck!

2400xp-m @12x200 here on a zalman 7000alcu idle about 33 and about 44 load @ 1.725 volts. I also have the newer 35 watt mobile. Im sure I can go higher but my ram won't handle anything above 200mhz :/
