Yep I read the xp pro message right below this one.

My firend has XP home and always just autologin.
Well last month he got one of the $19.99 norton ghost
programs. As soon as he installed it....you have to click
a user to longin.
WAIT a minute why the F would Ghost set his system so
he now has to login..
Try tweakui ....ok we are set....NOPE did not work.
WHAT is that damn Symantics problem...they want to rule
the world and are now fighting to get back sales from all this
crap they are doing to peoples systems.

IS there ANY way to get this damn thing to autoboot into his
ONLY account on the system with ghost installed?

thanks for any help or ideas....this is a stupid problem that should
not exist

Go here in the registry: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\WinLogon

Check the following Keys and their values:
GINAdll = MSGINA.dll <---if this is something else then autologon won't work.
AutoAdminLogon = 1
DefaultUserName = the account
DefaultPassword = the account password
DefaultDomain = computer name
Oh, check his user accounts, Symantec probably added one for it's services.
