Ok well not only am I not able to plug the connector into the VGA port. Every so often my monitor turns off then back on. Or sometimes my PC freezes up and everything becomes a little garbled for a second. Then it works just fine. During start up there are little white flickering things all over the POST and in BIOS. In XP they aren't there however. Does anyone know whats going on here? Thanks.

Sounds like a dying video card. Might RMA the sucker if you can.

Well crap. See I just RMA'd a dead 5800 Ultra...and now they sent me a dying one? That sux. If I had the money for a 9800XT. nVidia would lose another customer.
