XP And Linux on a Notebook

Would an Acer Linux Notebook have enough space to have Windows XP added to it as well so I can use programs not available in Linux?
 
You mean Netbook?

If its a regular notebook, then what size is the HDD?
 
if you're going to dual boot, you'll likely have to partition the hard drive

be aware of that
 
It is an Aspire one and I know a guy who says he can put Windows Xp on for free and then I can use Adobe programs like Dreamweaver but I am concerned my netbook will go wrong if he does it.
It has 120 GB hard drive
and memory 512 MB.
Will I be able to use both on my notebook.
I know nothing about computer hardware.
 
You can definitely run XP on a netbook. I'm not sure if you can run DW well with only 512MB of RAM, but try it out and see how it works for you. I haven't used DW since it was a macromedia product, lol.
