XP-120 and Vantech Stealth

I'm finding that the clips on my new XP-120 don't want to fit into the screw holes of the Vantech Stealth fan I want to mount onto it. has anyone else experienced the same thing?

I can secure one end of each clip but the other end can't reach the correct position. Fan still seems secure but I'm not sure if this will create problems.

i have a delta with my xp-120 and mine doesnt fit totally either...as long as ur fan is stable..ur fine.
 
If it is stable, don't worry. Also, you should just be able to bend the clips a little to get them to fit.
 
According to Thermalright the compatible fan sizes for the XP-120 are 25mm and 38mm deep. The other guys are right though. If your fan is stable and it works for you then awesome.
 
I ended up using a Dremel with a cutting wheel to hack the Vantec stealth so that the clips work right with the XP-120. Took about 20 seconds to make the modification.
