Looking for comparison between Xigmatek S1283 Thermalright Ultra 120.
 
Thanks, somehow I wasn't getting it in a search. The "TRUE" helps.
 
np. according to most reviews, the s1283 is supposed to be better when only a single fan is used, albeit marginally. when the true120 is mounted with 2 fans, it is supposed to improve a bit. that being said, i got the s1283 and vendetta 2 for the same price of 1 true120 + scythe fan. i will be installing the vendetta 2 and s1283 on quads (1 for Q6700 and 1 for QX6850) sometime next week. i am hoping that they are both better than my Tuniq tower as the base of the Tuniq seems to make contact with some of the caps on my P5E.
 
Temps can vary a bit, some people have the Vendetta 2 cooling a lil better than the S1283 because it has some better parts of its design. If ya can, let us know the temps of your procs in due time.
