Xigmatek Fans?

Just out of curiosity, has anyone had unusually high failure rates with Xigmatek fans?
 
Yeah, I do. Got two fans that were DOA and others that either are much louder than they used to be (subjective I suppose) or have developed high pitched whines to them. Replacement fans have not been an issue yet (knock on wood) so for the moment I do not think my setup is the problem.

Xigmatek's taking care of the RMA for me. I thought maybe there was a bad batch of fans or similar and I just got caught in the crossfire.
 
I've had 3 running in my case for over a year, they are running at full pelt too... had zero issues with them, plus i have an orange 140mm one as my exhaust fan... oooooh it's purdy... :D

My two DOA fans were those orange ones, with LED lighting right?
 
Yeh thats the one... i've had mine running as my exhaust fan for a few months now... no issues at all... maybe you just got unlucky...?

Probably. Crap happens.

Think on the bright side, I've got some really quiet replacement fans :).
 
The fan that came with my S1283 is just now starting to make some noise. Have had it for about a year.
