Xigmatek Fans?

Just out of curiosity, has anyone had unusually high failure rates with Xigmatek fans?

Yeah, I do. Got two fans that were DOA and others that either are much louder than they used to be (subjective I suppose) or have developed high pitched whines to them. Replacement fans have not been an issue yet (knock on wood) so for the moment I do not think my setup is the problem.

Xigmatek's taking care of the RMA for me. I thought maybe there was a bad batch of fans or similar and I just got caught in the crossfire.

I've had 3 running in my case for over a year, they are running at full pelt too... had zero issues with them, plus i have an orange 140mm one as my exhaust fan... oooooh it's purdy...

My two DOA fans were those orange ones, with LED lighting right?

Yeh thats the one... i've had mine running as my exhaust fan for a few months now... no issues at all... maybe you just got unlucky...?

Probably. Crap happens.

Think on the bright side, I've got some really quiet replacement fans .

The fan that came with my S1283 is just now starting to make some noise. Have had it for about a year.
