If you are in need of a budget case, the crew at techPowerUP! seems to think the Xigmatek Asgard 381 would be a decent choice.

Picked one up about 2 weeks ago for my new home server. The fan openings and hard drive bays were a major pull for me as well as USB 3.0 Up front(top)...4 2TB hard drives...and I want to put more it...I love this case!! Easy to work in too...For the $40 I paid for it, I'm more than happy.
 
Except for the front, 8x 3.5'' and 1x 2.5'' is nice, it's the same as the Nexus Thrio 310 Silent Case.
 
Looks similar to the NZXT GAMA I have. The biggest difference is the HDD bays are rotated 90 degrees and it lacks USB 3.0 support. Still, it's nice to have cases that offer a lot of fan spots.

One thing that just kills me: they cited it a negative for a 40 Euro case to only have one fan. No shit, it's a budget case--not to mention you don't really see even the high-end, several hundred dollar cases with a fan for every opening. Dumbass logic there, folks.
 
It has USB 3.0 ports...they are on the top...that's one of the main reasons I picked up this wonderful case.
