When I attach the cooler/fan onto my processor, in which direction should the fan be blowing?
 
depends on layout of your case, usually its better to point it towards the exhaust fan/vent.

but sometimes your limited to which direction because of your board, etc.
 
The previous post is right.

Just keep in mind what air you will be either pushing or pulling.

That will help you determine the better option....plus some of your other parts may get in the way too :D
