howdy all...I don't know how many of you Fold and even worse...how many know/work in OSX but here is the question...with the release of 10.4 xGrid is built into the OS and I was wondering of anybody has though of what it would take to get xGrid to work with Folding@home...I am asking because I have 25+ G4 Dual 1.25s that are just begging to do something and I think I could talk my boss into this as an "experiment with xGrid" :D

Seems kind of redundant, since F@H is already set up to be massively distributed & run in idle time. About the only thing working in xgrid will buy you would be not having to install it on every machine.

and that is what I am looking for...I figure I have access to about 62 GHz just sitting around for a good 16 hours a day and this would be the easiest way to get them running and being productive...and while F@H is distributed computing each computer is only working on one (or two depending on CPU type and QTY) protein at a time and if I could get this rolling it would crank them even faster

edit: besides wouldn't it be [H]ard to distribute a distributed computing just to see if it could be done?

Just wondering if anyone has had a chance to look into this yet?
