XFX v Sapphire 6950

I have a bunch of PC parts sitting in my living room, and I have no idea when the TOXIC will be back in stock at Newegg so I am debating between this XFX 6950: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150548

Both look like non reference coolers, just looking for some advice. Thanks.

Personally speaking, I find Sapphire cards very unreliable and have much better experiences with XFX, but there will undoubtedly be some people on here who say exactly the opposite.

I was leaning more towards the XFX, however I know next to nothing about component manufacturers these days. I've always liked EVGA, although they don't do AMD so I'm out in the dark here.

And as far as XFX cards go, was the one I linked about the best 6950 from them since they have a bunch of different models.

It has the better cooler, and is not pre-overclocked (I am not a fan of pre-overclocked cards).

It's a shame you can't buy reference HD6950s any more, reference cards are much better than non-reference.

I've had both sapphire cards and xfx and I've had good experiences with both.
