Never dealt with XFX before, but I have one of there cards with the Double Lifetime Warranty. I sent it to them and its there as of 11AM Friday. But I cant get through to them. Been trying to call all day to find out when I will hear something back on my card. Is this normal that they dont answer the phones?? Have I shipped my card into a Black Hole???

I've dealt with them through the ticket system. A tad slow, but nothing major.

Don't forget, it was the labor day weekend, perhaps they are a bit backed up.

I haven't dealt with them in probably 5 years, but when I had to send in my 6600GT way back when, I didn't have any problems. I'm going to agree and say that it's probably due to the Labor Day weekend. Give it a few days, and try again if you still haven't heard anything.

I just dont want the 30 day hell I went thru with MSI on my motherboard again. I had a bad video card deal years ago with Vision Tek and I wont buy any of there products again.

I RMA'd my HD6950 last month - took XFX five days to check and confirm it was bad. In their defense, that was my second RMA so they wanted to be absolutely sure, especially because in my case the problem wasn't consistent. The first RMA I sent in was confirmed in 5 hours because it was a consistent problem. A lot will depend on what's broke - if it isn't obvious they will check it thoroughly as I found out. Send a message thru their ticket system - they do read that quite often and used it to keep me in the loop about what's going on, unlike Visiontek where it is truly a black hole when it comes to information (I did get my card replaced).

I sent two cards in the past, each time they sent me back upgraded versions (discontinuity and all that) within 2 weeks ... Never had a problem and actually I don't even remember calling them either, never had to... hopefully you'll have the same experience, good luck..

If you want to find out the scoop on your card, the ticket system is your best bet.

Got an email saying they have it this.morning so at least I know.its.there now.

I went through a very similar experience with XFX. My old 5850 card died on me. So I RMA'd back to XFX and had nothing but issues with the replacement. It would not work on my rig. I had no idea what was wrong with it. I was lucky I had an extra GPU for back up.

Anyway's they replaced the 2 5850's they sent to me. So I ended up with a 6870 and haven't had any issues with it since. I give them props. They took care of me.
