Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I have the 5 port version. I have 5x250G Samsung SATA drives in a Raid3. It is much faster than my rocketraid404 in raid0. I love this card. Fault tolerant and performance to boot. Plus if you lose a drive, there is no performance penalty. It doesnt like small files very much, but that is the only negative I can come up with. One final bonus... no drivers needed. Uses standard ide drivers in windows. Also it is a complete hardware raid... not software.
If you got the cash... It is worth every penny. If you have a pcie board, wait until first of next year.. there is a pcie version coming out.
Have fun!

Update: After living with this card for a bit, I really like it. Unfortunately for me, I max out the pci bus with it. I have since moved to x64 and had zero troubles with it. Watch those damn sata cables tho... they are fragile.
