Ok so Im 100% definatly getting a 6800gs found both MSI and XFX versions there is only a £10 difference(XFX being £10 more) which doesn't make a difference to me. The only differnce I can see is that the MSI has GDDR where XFX has DDR and thats it.
Need some advice on which one to choose

Thanks
And ignore my sig that was that G card isn't there

Personally I would go for the XFX card as it has a better warrenty and the warrenty covers overclocking and aftermarket cooling solutions. I ordered the XFX last Thursday from NewEgg and should be getting it today. I'll be watercooling and OCing this badboy like crazy. :)

a bump after 40 minutes?
Pay the extra to get the GDDR
yea well i was home all day and nothing else to do
u said that i should pay extra however the msi (the cheaper 1) is the cheaper 1 and my mobo is msi if that helps at all

Is there really a difference between GDDR and DDR in the context they are using them in? I think one company just didn't put the G behind one, they use the same memory.

I know that GDDR is better but i also know that most XFX products use GDDR and I think ebuyer just has write DDR
MSI or XFX is there anyone with a definate answer???

I'd say get the XFX as well, the warranty itself is worth the extra cost. I've had a MSI Ti4600 and that treated me well, but I would rather have the double lifetime warranty.

the xfx one it is then but the msi being msi along with my mobo does that help at all?
