I jumped on the Black edition, only because I'm in dire need of a video card. Since 191.07 killed my 8800GT, I am unable to game so I jumped when I was able to order a 5850. Oh well... normally I would have held out for one of the ones that was "only" $309.

Whats disappoointing is TSMC/nVidia is to partly blame with NO COMPETITION before the holidays. Nah, I take that back, its all Nviidia' fault. If they built a smaller, more efficient chip there would be competition, not this damn chip that needs a nuclear reactor that its named for.
