xfx 9800gt blinking.

I just installed a xfx 9800 gt.At times for no reason .the screen goes blank for a few seconds and comes back up.It does not freeze or restart. I am using the latest drivers . Reinstalling windows didn't help either. The card idles at 49 c and goes to a max of about 65c.

Strange though the card gets its power from the motherboard as compared to other 9800gt's which have a pci-e connector. I am having an antec EA 430.
