well yesterday i sat around and decided to give my 6970 shot @ ocing
i started out with 950 /1450 which is limit for ccc. after running furmark for 20min or so with no problem my screen went all black but it recovered itself after few seconds. It was trouble from there...
I tried to play few games and i noticed random artifacts here and there..and it just got worse over time. I figured it might be clocks so i put em back to defaults of 880/1375.. problem didn't go away....drivers nope..reseating nope..card was definitely not overheating as it was floating low 80's on load.
After a while dual bios came to my mind even though it was unlikely that bios was the cause.
but guess what? switching bios fixed it...
Even though bios switch fixed my problem, i'm still worried that this is only temporal solution and problem might come back... should i request for rma? Or am i okay now...?
any1 else run into similar issue before?
