XFX 6950 Driver Crash

I picked up an XFX 6950 on Sunday and haven't been able to get it run with CCC drivers. The drivers install, but as soon as Windows starts the driver goes into an endless cycle of "amdkmdap has stopped and recovered". After it recovers my screen goes black approximately every 5-10 seconds and the driver crashes again.

I've tried 4-5 different drivers and versions of CCC, including the one that shipped with the card. I also tried using the 2nd BIOS, but it didn't help. The card runs fine without any drivers.

System specs are in my sig. I opened a ticket with XFX on Sunday, but they haven't responded. Since they don't have a forum I'm hoping [H] members can help.

Any thoughts?
