I'm currently in the process of RMA'ing my 6870 due to faulty memory.
Decided to make this thread for those curious about XFX RMA.
January 26, 2011
- I created a ticket and got a response within 2 hours asking for more information.
- Replied about corrupt graphics (triangles, dots) during 3D Games & Win Desktop.
January 27, 2011
- Less than 24 hours later, I got a response with instructions to send my card in for RMA.
- Currently my 6870 is packed up and will be shipped to XFX today.
February 01, 2011
- Received update that they have my card, and will be sending it to their RMA department for testing.
February 03, 2011
- Received update that the testing found the card to be faulty. A technician will contact me to complete RMA.
February 04, 2011
- Received update that my replacement card has shipped from XFX via FedEx. Tracking number provided.
February 10, 2011
- FedEx delivered replacement card. Pic 01 Pic 02 Pic 03
Replacement card has a faulty fan. I will be requesting a replacement.
- February 14, 2011
- Just requested cross shipping for the replacement card with faulty fan.
- February 17, 2011
- Received RMA approval. Offered advanced RMA.
- February 18, 2011
- Packed and will be shipping replacement card back today.
- February 23, 2011
- Received update that they have my card, and will be sending it to their RMA department for testing.
- February 24, 2011
- Received update that the testing found the card to be faulty. A technician will contact me to complete RMA.
- Received update that my replacement card has shipped from XFX via FedEx. Tracking number provided.
- March 02, 2011
- FedEx delivered replacement card. Packaging is same as above pics.

It's been about 3 weeks and the replacement card seems to be running without any issues.
That pretty much concludes my XFX RMA odyssey. Other than the first bad replacement card,
it was a straight forward process with prompt reply's & quick turnaround once they received my card.
