Thought I'd pose this problem before I got ahold of techsupport tommorow. I just got an xfx 6800gt to replace my r9700 pro. I uninstalled the 9700 the safe way (safemode driverclean) and installed 6800gt. Initially there were no problems. I played about 4 or 5 hours of Hl2 and WoW with no issue. I then shut the comp down to take a break. When I came back and turned comp on just before it would load windows my 2005fpw would say no signal, and I would get no signs of windows loading. I then went to safemode uninstalled driver and was able to get back in to windows, reinstall driver. Then after reboot it would do the same thing over again. So I tried just about every driver I could find, having the same problem. I tried changing the resolution and getting everything setup to what it should be after installing drivers before reboot, and as soon as I change the resolution to 1680x1050 I get a bsd saying a problem with nv4.dll. Anyone know what causes this? I would guess power, but it is weird when it occurs, and the fact I was able to play graphic heavy games for 4 hours before makes it even more suspicious.
Any help is appreciated, thanks.
