XFX 6800 GT Temps!!! Please Help.....

hi i bought a XFX 6800 GT graphics card. im a bit worried about the temperature that the nvidia temp monitor is showing. at ideal the temperature is around 55oc and after playing Far Cry for 15 to 20 min the temp is about 70 - 76oc is this too hot?? would it damage my GPU?? i have a Zorro Pc case it has two 60mm fans one under the PSU blowing air out of the case and there is one fan on the see through side panel blowing air out also. i also have a heat extractor blower under the graphic card. i also have 2 fans on my PSU blowing air out.

if this temp is too hot for the graphic card what could i do to reduce the heat?

I wouldnt worry about it along as it plays game fine, GPU's can get much hotter than cpus.
 
but i heard that temperatures above 65oc for the 6800 GT are pretty hot.....????? im not getting any articles yet....
 
65 is great... Im hitting 80C during gaming but Im oc'd pretty nice! :D

You really dont need to worry about temps untill they hit the 90-100C range.
 
I have the same video card, and mine gets really hot also, it worries me, I'll probably end up buying an Actic Cooler VGA silencer to get some better temps.
