It's the OC version, it's clocked @ 765MHz, thus the price difference.

Ah, it's the black edition. Didn't notice that.

Mine does 850 core no problem but I can't get memory above 1100.

I don't honestly see that increase in mem clock speed justifying *that* much of a price gouge.

That's a big price bump from launch msrp. This is not a good trend.
