XFX 4890 Double Lifetime??

Went to XFX website and clicked on Double Lifetime warranty at the bottom of their site and it only mentions nVidia cards.

Their opening graphic is an advertisement for the 4890 so I clicked on that looking for the Double Lifetime warranty information and again.......nothing. I am old so maybe I missed it.;)

Did find that they are advertising H.A.W.X. when you buy a 4890. I found one at TIgerDirect with Live Cashback that I would like to purchase but it says nothing about including H.A.W.X.
Will they do like eVGA and send it to you after you register the card if it is not included in the box?

Looking to go back to Red for a while and see what the next few months bring.

All modern XFX cards carry that warranty.

The link to Double Lifetime Warranty on the home page makes it look like it is only available on the Nvidia cards.

Nope. That is 5 Star Support!! I thought the same thing at first. I will admit. This Double Lifetime thing, looking at the website is still iffy for me.

I know what I've been told here. I see the Newegg reviews where they talk about the Double Lifetime warranty right before they write "Newegg Rocks!!! omgwftbbq".

BUT

On the XFX website it specifically only mentions Geforce 6, 7, 8, 9 & GTX video cards as having Double Lifetime warranty. No mention whatsoever of Radeon cards, or even what the warranty might be.

HOWEVER, that did not stop me from ordering an XFX Radeon 4890 with free copy of H.A.W.X. I will order another one as soon as this rebate period is over so I can get another rebate. Sucks only having one rebate per household for us guys that want to do Crossfire. Hope they start putting a different game in them as well. I might even wait for that.

Or, I guess I could do like everybody else and sell the extra copy of H.A.W.X..........kind of like a little extra rebate.

I honestly can't believe with XFX prominently in the title that the XFX rep hasn't come in to edify me. AND, I guess I could always call them if it's really that important to me.
 
Oh okay that makes since, and thanks for clarifying that up since this is one of the new cards I'm considering.

Just ordered mine as well. Should be here tomorrow. However, I made my order more out of necessity than need. The grandson will be living with us for awhile, and I need to get my secondary box back up to gaming condition. So I bought the 4890 for me and the secondary will receive my 4850.

He'll just have to WoW with my hand-me-downs. :D
 
My guess is that they just haven't updated their double lifetime warranty to include AMD/ATI cards yet because they only recently started producing them. I have a 4890, and it does indeed state that it's covered by the double lifetime thingamajig
 
It is my understanding that the warranty varies by country, but the double lifetime warranty should apply to U.S. cards. Someone in the U.K. told me they only get 2 years. :(
