XFire uploading?

I noticed this screen, does this mean it has some kind of bittorrent style thing going on? And for what? I don't "dowload" anything using XFire, being that it is an IM program. I need to keep track of things that upload stuff on my network, so that I can plan stuff out like what to set my upload to when I use bittorrent to not have it bog down my connection.

This kinda reminds me of like how Kazaa used to include a copy of the installer program in the shared folder by default to help it spread across the network. Well, I know XFire freggen updates like every day so i could see them doing something like this, using everyone's upload to spread their updates.
