XFI Driver Installation Problems

This is a weird problem, I found similar issues when I first installed, but out of some fluke, it worked. I started getting weird distortions with bf2 when playing, so Ifigure reinstalling the drivers would fix it. Big bad mistake. Once again, I can't install the drivers, and that fluke isn't happening again. Windows just won't pick up wth WDM drivers. Volume panel insists there is no audio device detected. It keeps saying it can't find it. I've tried 3 different downloads of the latest X64 drivers (I'm using windows x64). I'm sure it isn't the bios, since it was working earlier.

I've attempted to install the drivers through device manager, no dice. Through setup.exe inside the temp file, the normal way to do it, nada. I'm getting the impression I'm messed.
These are my specs
AMD 64 4200+ X2
2g's ram dual channel
A8N SLI Mobo
GeForce 7600 GT
Xfi Extrememusic

I am completely at lost on what to do to fix this. I REALLY Don't wanna reformat... like... really bad...

The beta expires tommorow, should I even hope that the new drivers will be out soon and my woes be solved?

unpack the .exe file using winrar
run ctzap.exe
click uninstall and select "delete all creative driver files" or whatever
reboot
use same program to install and make sure "overwrite" is selected

enjoy.
