creative is lame? and its just gonna b a repackaged audigy2 or audigy4? haha i'm juss playing. just wait and see. doesn't seem like anything revolutionary, but we'll see
 
So, who are the review sites that people would trust to do a decent job investigating this hardware?
 
It's actually a new chip.. Creative decided 7 years with the Emu10k* was enough I guess :p

I'd trust a home theater site the best myself... virtually all reviews of sound equipment on hardware websites consists of people reading back the specs, commenting on how smooth the audio is [on their Klipsch Promedia's/Logitechs] and then taking some benchmarks to make sure the hardware acceleration works. Seems a little more like cheerleading than anything to me =]

www.audioholics.com does pretty decent reviews, I'd like to see them get their hands on one and run it through the ringer, especially with regards to DVD-Audio playback.
