Nocona's are pretty good server processors. I don't think they can really do 4 way, unless Tyan or Supermicro made a board for them I havent seen. The performance of 2x252's and 2x3.6ghz Noconas would be about the same, though the corporate world is adopting Opterons instead of Xeons. I guess they just like the better price/performance of the Opterons.

Though what was the point of this thread? Just another way to vent your baseless fan boyism of intel?
 
no, i just want to see all the server fans out there see what they choose. and yes i do agree amd makes some nice server chips.
