XenServer write performance is lacking

I am getting some abysmal write performance on my new install of XenServer and was wondering if there is any tweaking that can be done.

Here is a SS of Hd Tune write test.

The local storage is on 2 arrays:

First array is 5 750 GB 7200 SATA disks in a RAID5 with a 128K stripe
Second array is 10 320 GB 7200 SATA disks in a RAID50 with a 128k stripe

Now the primary point that I know is probably wrong is I do not know what array the VHD's are on as the install only asked what arrays did I want for local storage so I chose both.

I then preceded to create 2 VM's one Windows 2k3 R2 Standard and then a W2k3 R2 x64 Enterprise and of course install the XenTools on each VM.

Now read performance is great at an average of ~200 MB a sec, and I don't know if this is real performance. Once I tested the write it was horrible and then actual copy performance is 15mb/sec from disk to disk in the VM itself and across the network it is 60 mb/sec when reading from the VM and then when writing to the VM it starts at about 60 mb/sec and then dwindles to below 30 mb/sec and eventually finishes out at about 20-22 mb/sec

Does this seem like normal performance?
