Seems to have fairly limited hardware support at this point (basically Centrino + Intel graphics), but this could be really cool. I've always wanted a type 1 transparent hypervisor for my home PC to have access to the "real" hardware rather than "VMware 3D Adapter" or whatever, but with the ability to easily switch to a different VM. Unfortunately, my work laptop has a Quadro rather than the GM45, so I can't even try it out yet.

Docs are at http://support.citrix.com/product/xc/vRC/ if you want to read up on it.

I tried it out on a work laptop (HP Elitebook 6930p) that wasn't being used a few days ago.

Seemed to work well enough, i installed XP and Server 2003 on it to try at first. They installed and booted well enough. I have not played with the Synchronizer yet. Not sure if I'll have time to.

I played around with the 3D Graphics support, but it crashed when trying to change screen resolutions and such. I'll admit i didn't go through the documentation very well, I only just recently just found the text saying that the most recent Intel driver (XP, Vista, 7) must be loaded right after the VM restarts when enabling 3D Graphics support.

If i get another chance to play with that laptop, i'll review what i did wrong.
