Xcopying in DOS mode?

To be more specific, I need to xcopy lots of directories in with my NTFS dos boot disc.

For some reason, one of my harddrives' data is only visible in dos NTFS(it's dying). And I tried downloading and copying versions of xcopy to use, but they either say they won't run in DOS mode, or they won't work in that version of DOS.

I'm using the ultimate boot cd for windows.(a great tool btw), but there just is no xcopy for NTFS dos.
