i just received this power supply and i was wondering what are the 2 blue molex connectors...are these fan only connections? this is my thinking but i just wanna be sure

yeah it was standard looking molex that you plugged into hard drives and what not just blue...ill take a pic if i can

nothing much, fashion design imo, like making the 6pin pcie connector red, not just for fans

so its cool to use for hard drives and dvd burners? there are 4 molexs on 2 leads if you count the blue ones so i wanna spread them out to use evenly on both...thing is i was reading that this power supply only had 6 molexs so i guess i got 2 extra ones or something with mine

They're for when you need to use the molex -> PCI-e adapter. Same thing on my 480BL as well, and I never had an issue before when I had one of the blue ones connected to my DVD burner a while back.

asked Meridian about the blue connectors and their response was that they are there as a visual aid if you need to use a PCIe adapter (often included with high-end video cards).

Translation, blue for no reason really, you can just use a standard white molex in the event you use a PCIe adapter, it makes no difference funtionally.

appreciate that man...i guess this power supply comes with 8 molex now which im not complaining about lol
