Second, you need to download and install Windows Media Connect 2.0 from Microsoft.
Third, turn the Xbox on, and start WMC on the PC. You'll be able to see the Xbox through WMC's window and can select which media folders you want to share.
Finally, on the 360 Dashboard go to the Media blade and choose Music, then choose computer. Assuming everything is set up correctly, you'll be able to connect to your PC and will see all your artists, albums, and playlists. The same steps apply for Video.
Is this new in the most recent patch? I know I haven't been able to stream from computer to TV with my 360 up until now, but I haven't tried it recently as you did need Windows MCE when the 360 was released.beanman101283 said:No, you don't need MCE to stream video.

That's what I thought all this time....I've had a 360 for a long time and always wanted to stream video, but I don't have MCE. I have the beta of vista sitting around just for this reason.Domingo said:Yeah, this would have to be newer or maybe using some kind of 3rd party software. By default it lets me get pictures and MP3's, but nothing else.
