It appears that some people did take notice when Gamespot posted a video of the upcoming Dashboard update. Remember, until we see an official confirmation this is all mere speculation.

The Marketplace gettting its own Dashboard blade is a good idea. Much easier to access now IMO. Sounds good overall.
 
I have been impressed with the direction MS has gone with their updates.

It does seem that they listen to their userbase and integrate features that people want.
 
I'm assuming the low power mode that turns off the fans will also throttle down the clockspeed. Even if it does. It may cause a lot more heat related problems during the summer months if there isnt a moving airflow through the machine.

Probably just me being paranoid. But my 360 is well out of waranty now and i'm half expecting it to die everytime i turn it on :D
 
Dear god... voice chat rooms... all I want.

A separate blade for Marketplace? It's not exactly hard to get to but ok.
Windows messenger support... do people actually use windows messenger?

I think the two things that a good majority of the people out there want is voice chat rooms and clan support. All I really want.
 
The other stuff is nice; not enough for competitive gamers but nice.

But Marketplace was already a really great interface for buying almost nothing. Seriously, I check their HD film catalog once a month or so, but they still only have a handful.

Oh well, at least it will be more convenient to find out there's nothing to buy.
 
Smititty is exactly right. I don't care about MS increasing their ability to nickel and dime me to death with nonexistent movie DL's, I want GROUP CHAT. Nothing else. I am seeing my friends fade off 1 by one from their xboxes, b/c unlike pc's, if we're not in the same game, and there are more than 2 of us, we can't talk.

argh. sucks being broke til august. i want a damn 360. I have a 990.00 shopping cart at walmart.com just staring me in the face...waiting to hit ORDER
