I setup the Xbox one and TV feature... now when I turn off the xbox, I can't watch tv. Is there a way to turn off the box and still be able to watch tv? I don't want to have my cable box and xbox on all the time.

But you wouldn't be able to seamlessly switch from TV to games while on a Skype call!

I'm more frustrated with the xbox one than any other console ever. I think I'll just unplug the cables hdmi from the xbox and plug it back into the tv for now.

Xbox 360 + Wanna be cable Tuner = Xbox One ;)

My DVR does HDMI and component at the same time. So I have component running to my TV to use if I don't want to turn the XO on.

I don't know if i want to have it idle and draw 70W just to allow me to pass through TV.

I'm also doing the HDMI / Component trick also, so i can turn the xbox off.

Understandable I don't have a service provider box (you wouldn't believe how much power those use!) They draw more power than my media center PC!
