After they announced today the reduction in launch countries they also added that little bit

Microsoft has provided clarification, confirming that the removal of region-locking will not prevent people from importing. "When the console launches this November, we will support Xbox One in 13 markets," a Microsoft spokesperson told us. "That said, Xbox One games are not region locked. Any Xbox One game purchased at retail can be used in any country on any Xbox One. There are no technical restrictions on games or Xbox Ones that would prevent use anywhere."

This was confirmed a few weeks ago. It would be better if Japan actually liked the xbox and released games for it.

Pretty good news for companys that do the trade market. Are they allowing them to still trade games or is it gonna be locked down per xbox?

If you have a physical disc it'll work just like it does now, with the 360.
